Contentment Can Feel Weird

Contentment can feel weird at first and yet it’s an essential ingredient for healing. It’s been something we all quest for and yet we “think” ourselves out of contentment. Our nervous systems just aren’t used to it.

Contentment is a state of being where nothing is desired and the richness of the moment and all that’s in it comes totally present and we have the big ahhhhhhhh moment.

Healing happens out of a place of contentment.

When You Gotta Go, You Gotta GO!

Why is it that we don’t ‘go‘ when we know we’ve got to?

Aren’t we amazing all the ways we hold ourselves back?

Yes, we can even hold ourselves back from going to the bathroom when we really need to. For some reason, we don’t want to get rid of our own waste when it’s time.

Remembering the Adventure of Life

We were not born to live a mundane existence.
The essence of who we are – pure, clear and strong is life itself.
There is a pressure that comes from the world around us, sometimes even a demand that demands our surrender into a humdrum day-to-day way of being.

When we say yes to that demand, something inside at the heart of our being knows we are stepping out of the rich passionate flow of our life into an ordinariness that may be convenient but costly to our hearts.

Relief From Lying

Lies make us ill, whether we’re lying to one another or ourselves.

Lying separates us from our own truth and is just plain hard on our bodies.  It takes energy to lie, energy that could be available for life affirming actions.

When we lie, we create blockages in our physical body, resistance in our emotional field and separation from our spirit selves. The suffering we have carried because of lying has been great.
