An Honest Review of 2019

AN Honest review of 2019

Our hearts say it’s time for strong medicine- for truth telling.

In the midst of parties, vacations and gatherings of friends and/or family, do you have a nagging feeling that one more year has gone by and your deepest desires, hopes and dreams are still unfulfilled?

We know this may seem like a downer in the midst of what is supposed to be an upbeat time. But the end of the year is also a time of reflection and once again setting new intentions.

And, is there still a part of you that is feeling you might fail once again?

Looking back over the year is there….

  • Something you really wanted to achieve that you haven’t accomplished?
  • A problem that still exists that you haven’t resolved?
  • A relationship that hasn’t improved, it in fact feels more distant, even the one you have with the divine, god, source etc.?
  • A negative way of thinking or feeling that you just can’t seem to get past?

The new year is just around the corner.
Wouldn’t you like to….

  • Feel thrilled that you accomplished even more than you set out to?
  • Once and for all leave behind the nagging issues that are plaguing you?
  • Know that you have relationships that feel authentic and supportive?
  • Stop recreating the same negative emotions that keep you stuck in the past?

This is the time on the planet where change is absolutely necessary.
We are not being grandiose, we are being honest.

Do you want to continue to feel sick and tired of feeling hamstrung or stuck never fully feeling like you’re thriving? Sure, you can sit back and stay in your supposed comfort zone and keep getting by, still feeling less than optimal and disconnected from your heart….  or YOU can step into the life you desire deep inside.

This line from a show we watched recently seems a perfect fit. “If you focus on protecting your heart you can avoid a lot of pain, but you can also end up living half a life.”

What kind of Life do you want to live in 2020?
Please share with us Below what’s stuck and in the way of you being the best you in 2020 so we can support you.

Are You a Heretic?

Are You a Heretic?

The word heretic is a great demonstration of how the original meaning of a word becomes burdened or co-opted by organizations that will bend a word to suit their objectives.

Heretics were burned at the stake. Sometimes that was the kindest thing that happened to them. We’ve discovered being a heretic has been really misunderstood.

The root meaning of the word heretic as a noun is defined in the online etymological dictionary as “able to choose”.

Sometimes we have to become heretics in our own lives to ‘choose’ away from a history, a place or people. People will want us to walk in lockstep with them even though we know it will cost us the integrity of our hearts.

Is it time for you to be a heretic and choose a way of living with a new mindset that may separate you from those you’ve been marching with?

Are you walking to the beat of your own drum?

Uncertainty’s Power

uncertainty opens the door to revelation
Uncertainty’s power opens the door to receiving gifts of revelatory information.

We begin most mornings in regular communication with our sacred allies who are physical beings but not of Earth. They are transmitting supportive information on a regular basis for us. We thought you would find this most recent piece on Uncertainty of value. This excerpt and future ones come from an emerging book they are transmitting to us.

We are in an unprecedented time of uncertainty and we need to learn how to mine the energy within it to create the solutions required to grow our consciousness and tend to the life force of the planet that sustains us.

 Uncertainty’s Power

The words they select are powerful and precise.
Reading the following out loud will help integrate the fullness of the information.

You must be in a place of uncertainty for revelation to occur. You will understandably experience uncertainty as you are present to what we are expressing. Uncertainty for some can feel life threatening. For others less so. We are encouraging you to welcome this presence of uncertainty.

Throughout all of human history uncertainty has generated every revelation that has advanced human consciousness in the forms of spiritual understanding, technology, the human body and more.

Uncertainty is by its nature pregnant with revelatory information waiting to be claimed by those courageous enough to navigate the step by step pathway uncertainty calls into focus when there are discoveries to be made.

We know that we are asking you to trust a sensation that can be disquieting.

First just notice you are in uncertainty.
You do not need to do anything.
Uncertainty is profoundly intelligent.

The gift of greater knowing will open itself within you as you receive breath after breath the affirming presence of Life itself within every breath you receive. You may think you are taking a breath, but in truth you are always receiving a breath as it is the connection of your soul to Life itself that energizes a human body’s capacity to breathe.

Stop Seeing Yourself Through The Past

Questions that won't go away

Stop Seeing Yourself Through The Past

We’ve been inspired and supported lately by Paul Selig’s book “The Book of Mastery.” We’ve published years of blogs pointing out all the ways we have been taught to think and believe and we’ve offered many ways to learn to perceive anew and how to turn that perception into a new way of being.

There is a call to action that is happening throughout the world to break through our old ways of being and allow the truth of who we are to come to the forefront.

In just a few words, Paul and the Guides bring into focus and create an invitation to cast off the old dead past.

“So many of you get stuck, you see, when you cause yourself fear, when you demand to know yourselves through what you have been. What you have been means so little in the face of who you are. What you have known yourself as has gotten you here perhaps, but like yesterday’s dress that no longer fits very well, to try to perceive the self through one’s old self keeps you in an old way that has no real bearing on who and what you are.” Paul Selig The Book of Mastery A Channeled Text p. 302

We’d love to hear from you:

  • How do you perceive yourself through filters of the past?
  • Who are you really?
  • Isn’t it time to let that part out?

Breaking the Cycle of Disappointment

Disappointment was the tool my parents used to keep me towing the line to the norms that were important to them. it felt like a stab in the heart when I was young when they were disappointed with me. And I still bristle at times at the use of that word.

So, David and I have been cleaning up our own cycles of disappointment lately. One thing that has really helped us is knowing the actual root of the word.

In the Online Etymological Dictionary ‘to disappoint’ has two roots- from the early 15th century “to undo an appointment or remove from office.” And later that century the modern sense “to frustrate expectations.”

Not taking someone else’s disappointment personally is made a bit easier when I look at it in terms of being ‘removed from office’. Some of the norms my parents believed in didn’t match my natural expression. So I “undid” the appointments that I didn’t agree to by being me not being what they thought I should be.

The energy that goes with disappointment is a contorted expression of love. I was confused by my parents who really did love me and yet were disappointed when I was not following the rules they set forth.

But really, disappointment results when our own will gets in the way of Divine Will- or when we try to impose our personalized will on others. The driver of our will is “You got to do it my way or the way I think it should be.”

Breaking the cycle of disappointment requires a clear loving heart. In love, we can have acceptance for ourselves and others. If my parents or I had known better we would have done differently. My parents did their best as did I.

And most of all when we act from being informed by Divine Will first, we don’t disappoint ourselves or run that energy toward another. We are acting in love and no mismatch occurs. I am no longer out of ‘appointment’ with the Divine.

If we prayerfully hold the question “What is the way right now?” and allow the answer to come, then love or Divine Will will be what shapes our actions.

We want to live in a world where dis-appointment from the Divine is healed. Where our trained habits and conditions of separation are no longer running us.

In truth, our hearts ache because of separation from love. And if God, the Divine, Source is love then when we are in alignment there is no way to be disappointed. The cycle is broken because we have closed the gap.

We welcome your comments below and look forward to hearing from you.

Navigating in Uncertain Times

Change is afoot- no shit! We have been moved by the enormous range of shocked responses to the US election. There is a vast sorrow filled ache present in America that has been there for quite a few years.

Many haven’t wanted to see the turmoil, sorrow, suffering and divisiveness that have been in the hearts of so many across the United States.

What kind of world do you want to live in? We want to live in a world where compassion rules. The souls that we are, are vastly bigger than any momentary political social moment. It’s that vastness that allows us to be compassionate in the face of fear and uncertainty.

How To Navigate Uncertain Times

We are witnessing many who are shocked, suffering, sad, grieving, and also euphoric. Getting overrun by emotions clouds our clear connection to our own soul wisdom. We miss getting our own prescription of knowing that we can use to navigate stormy waters. You have a prescription of knowing just waiting to download into you.

How do we clear the way?

First- Dealing with Shock

In shock we move into survival and forget to see the big picture not just the systems that aren’t working or the suffering that’s around us and in our own hearts. In shock we cannot see a clear path before us.

If you want to learn more about how to cope with shock get our Free Survival Guide- What to Do When Your World Falls Apart.

Second- Make Friends with Uncertainty

When we really allow for uncertainty and risk what we know, we open ourselves up to possibility and shift. There is an abundance of opportunity and a pathway to joy if we are willing to open to the bigger life that we are.

Third- You Are Not Alone

Our thoughts and fears not only divide us from one another, but make us feel separate from Source. The very spirit in the air is filled with love. When we open up our hearts and allow the love that is present to come in, we will receive the love and guidance we need to not feel separate. We have to fold in the sacred into this achiness because it will help us be clear and know what to say and how to be.

And most importantly – Steer with your wisdom, heart and integrity.

We have been conditioned to think and feel in ways that aren’t true to our hearts and souls. There is an abundance of knowing just waiting for all to call on. We can learn when we open our hearts and grow our wisdom how to heal ourselves and the planet. What a great opportunity lies before us. Fierce wisdom clarity and love will heal us.

And If it’s difficult to see you way through these stormy seas, please post in the comments or contact us.
We are here to help!

In love and possibility,

Susan and David
