As our notions of time are changing, we thought it timely to honor and encourage the timelessness of the Wisdom that we are.
Wisdom will have its way with us whether it shows up through serendipity, an inkling that won’t go away or a stubbed toe. The something that gets our attention is wisdom knocking at our door.
Sometimes we can miss the answer we really need because we “think” it should look, feel and be a certain way. In fact, our choices are based on a proven model from the past not necessarily what is needed in the present.
When we cultivate serendipity, we allow ourselves the opportunity to find the answer we are really seeking that will bring the change we really need.
Radical Sobriety-
The word sobriety has a meaning we attribute to not using drugs or alcohol to alter our consciousness. Sobriety can also be applied to how someone is thinking. It’s usually used when someone is thinking clearly- outside of the norm and often in radically different ways. Have you ever used the phrase “well that was sobering!”
We live most of our lives relatively healthy.
That in and of itself is a miracle considering the complexity of processes going on in our bodies at any given moment. When we become ill, whether it’s with ‘a cold’ or a more serious condition like cancer, we suddenly find ourselves in the uncharted territory of the medical system.
Our National Insomnia: A Call To Action
Perhaps one of the reason’s that insomnia is so epidemic is that the truth and insights that we deny throughout the day won’t be denied at night.
Seeing what is true to us, what is the greater truth, ignites our capacity to perceive magically.
When the strength of that kind of honest knowing occurs, we enable ourselves to regain our ability to steer our lives through and around the stories we are being asked to believe-
that’s practical magic.
We live in a time that calls us to see truthfully and faithfully what is before us. It’s easy to condemn our perception of the truth as “magical thinking”.
In fact, we are trained to deny the truth of what we see.
We’re not talking about denying the truth of a stop sign or your beloved’s tears. The gift of the world today is that we all have the opportunity and the capacity to see and know the magical transformative truth of what we comprehend moment by moment.
