You don’t know what you don’t know.
It’s a simple and powerful truth.
What if, when we don’t know there’s “a special knowing” that’s there for us?
Uncertainty is like spring. When a daffodil bulb feels the call of the sun warming the earth, it can’t see the light but it knows it’s there. And through a gesture of faith, it begins its journey to the light.

Why is it that we don’t ‘go‘ when we know we’ve got to?
Aren’t we amazing all the ways we hold ourselves back?
Yes, we can even hold ourselves back from going to the bathroom when we really need to. For some reason, we don’t want to get rid of our own waste when it’s time.

We were not born to live a mundane existence.
The essence of who we are – pure, clear and strong is life itself.
There is a pressure that comes from the world around us, sometimes even a demand that demands our surrender into a humdrum day-to-day way of being.
When we say yes to that demand, something inside at the heart of our being knows we are stepping out of the rich passionate flow of our life into an ordinariness that may be convenient but costly to our hearts.

A Wisdom Rx Blessing called forth by David MacKenzie and Susan Perkins.
Your voice is not what you think it is.
So often you speak from your memory.
Ideas shape your words.
There is a longing within you to hear the current of life you are.

When we learn to honor the ebb and flow, the natural rhythm of our lives, the “work” that we do can be easier and maybe even more effective by learning when to stop and rest in the richness of our lives outside of what we do to make money.
If you’re reading this going into your day of work, you can even stop work and notice that you are a free being always bigger than the limits of any task.
Beloveds,
There are ways that enslavement happens.
Work, no matter how much joy may be present, needs to end.
Once there was a man, who loved what he did so much he never put his tools down.
At first his friends thought him noble because indeed he was a master.
Soon his children stopped asking him to play because his hands were full of tools.
His wife became more lonely day by day, because the tools were in the way.
